The OC season 2 was premiered on 11-4-2004 with the episode entitled ‘The Distance’. Season opens and summer is coming to an end. Seth has not returned home from Oregon. It’s place where he spent the whole summer. On the other hand, Ryan is living with Theresa who’s pregnant and continues to work his construction job. Frustrated Sandy and Kristen are missing their son. Alone Marissa is in a dark. As the season goes on, Ryan and Seth have returned to Newport. Both join their old girlfriends but things are completely different from where they left off. Hailey is having some bad news for Jimmy. Caleb makes some decisions about the Newport group and his decisions are not okay with Kristen. Ryan encounters a new gal at school.

Seth-Ryan-Lindsay-Alex all are on date which ends in something really unexpected. This season we saw SnO.C. Winter dance. Seth wants to improve his relationships with Alex who seems uninterested. Marissa-D.J relationship is exposed. Next is the time of Chrismukkah in the OC and Seth wants to take it at a global level. Julie-Jimmy relation is going well and both share a very good time together. Caleb confesses something which shocks Cohen and Nichole families. The confessions result in Lindsay’s welcome to the family. It’s Sandy and Kirsten’s 20th wedding anniversary and she forgets about it. Teenagers’ relationships are in trouble and it may an effect on their future as well. Season finale ‘The Dearly Beloved’ was aired on 5-19-2005. Season ends as Sandy is convinced to make a tough decision in order to save her life. Meanwhile, Jimmy, worried about Marissa and his family, returns to Newport.
