The OC season 1’s pilot was first aired on 8-5-2003. Series begins and a new life for Ryan Atwood, Cooper and Cohen families as well. The OC is a strange town where spoiled rich kids are enjoying their lives. Ryan Atwood, a trouble prone teenager who has been booted out of his own home is rescued by Cohen family before he joins the criminal world and spoils his life.

Ryan joins the community of the town and tries to adjust in with new crowd and with new friends. Ryan is not welcomed by the lady of the family Kristen whereas Sandy Cohen (her hubby) invites him to live in the pool house of Cohen’s Newport Beach home. Initially, Ryan attempts to run away from Cohen’s but is stopped by Seth who figures out his plan. Seth helps Ryan while getting help from Marissa and hides him in an uncompleted home. Sandy and Kristen do argue each other on Ryan’s disappearance. Ryan’s bio-logical mother also visits him. It’s time for annual Cotillion Ball and it’s also the same time when Newport’s young ladies enter the society. Sandy doesn’t look happy over the news of Kristen’s loan to Jimmy. Ryan asks Marissa for a hang out. Kristen’s dad Caleb Nichol visits the town along with his new girl friend Gabrielle which is just 24 years old. Luke wants to take a second chance with Marissa and this may threaten Ryan. Mid-season cliffhanger was- who Marissa will choose?

Season’s Top Ranked Episode- ‘The Escape’

End of summer is near and the Newport kids are planning an end-of-summer trip to Tijuana. Jimmy is having his own plans but Marissa doesn’t seem okay with Jimmy’s plans. Kristen doesn’t understand the job which Sandy has got. Ryan, Seth, summer and Marissa all do find themselves in a very strange world. One of the OC kids is hit by the disaster.
